Jussi Holopainen, Senior Partner

Mr. Holopainen has been working about 15 years in various senior management positions (i.e. Business Development Executive/ICI Pharmaceuticals, Managing Director /ICI Chemicals, Zeneca Pharma in Finland, Commercial Director/Zeneca Pharma Mexicana, Managing Director/GlaxoWellcome in Finland, Managing Director/Tamro, CEO/Pharmatory Ltd). He has led several multi-cultural teams and has been stationed i.e. in  Finland, Denmark, the UK and Mexico.

He has served at the Board i.e. of the Finnish Pharmaceutical Industry Association (Chairman of the Medical Committee) and the Finnish Pharmaceutical Wholesaling Association (vice chairman). He is serving at the Executive Board of Drug 2000 program, which is coordinating the public funding into drug development in Finland and he is also a Chairman of a Service Cluster program which is supporting international commercialization of services related to drug development.

Jussi’s clients are, among others, leading Finnish and international companies. The Life Sciences industry (Pharmaceuticals, Health Care, Nutrition, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Biotech) but also other industries, retail and wholesale, the service sector, the public sector and international companies are his customers.

Jussi has executed top level executive search assignments especially as well as in marketing, sales, R&D, production finance and international operations. Assignments have taken place both in Finland and abroad. He is a member of Global Life Science Practice Group in IIC.

Jussi holds a M.Sc. (Econ.) and B.Sc. (Pharm.) He has completed several business administration courses in Finland and abroad.
